A great City break hotel .

The hotel was central to a lot of shops and gardens.A good bus service allowed easy transport to other attractions ie Guinness store. Rooms spacious with all amenities and kept spotless by staff.We did not have meals at hotel however used Steam cafe within hotel for coffee and light bites.We had an enjoyable stay at hotel and impressed by city overall .Sure to be back.

The Alex was great property. Most of the big tourist attractions where within 15-25 mins walk and the staff was so helpful. I'd recommend to anyone looking for a quieter space in Dublin!

Trinity college is right around the corner and local restaurants, bars and museums . Simon (front desk staff) was very kind and amicable , he gave some good recommendations for late night food. Although the fish and chips at The Alex restaurant were delicious, I would stay clear of dining in the hotel. The bar and management of the restaurant were very short and rude . Simon was very kind to suggest an alternative of taking our dinner in the comfort of our room . Room service staff were very kind.

Absolutely loved this property. This was my 44th trip to ireland and my first time staying at the Alex. I will absolutely stay here again. The staff were friendly, efficient, professional and kind. We felt welcome every time we entered. The room product is great with modern furnishings, huge king bed, and I felt safe. Very walkable to all my favorite museums, shops, dining, train station, and pubs, of course. Truly loved it! Thank you!
