Reception staff welcoming and informative. We were not there for long, and had a busy programme; so can’t speak for breakfast, restaurant or leisure facilities. Rooms well-appointed, clean and comfortable – although less than generous in size and clothes-hanging space. Well situated near Merrion Square, an area of beautiful buildings.
I've travelled all over the world, and this is one of the best stays I've had anywhere. Everything was flawless, from the room to the service. I loved every minute of my stay and would stay again in a heartbeat.
Martin was very helpful and friendly at reception. The restaurant staff was also great. Recommend the breakfast upon arrival especially if it’s a sunny day. Great atmosphere.
This is a great hotel but my ‘after check out’ experience has been far less than satisfactory. While at the hotel everything was faultless - could not have been happier. However the hotel charges (not holds) a €100 deposit they state is refunded on check out. At check out I was advised this would occur. However I was not refunded the full amount despite no consumption of any mini bar items during my stay. I have reached out to the hotel twice to seek to understand the reason and have received no response. This has really left a negative feel. It’s robbery when there is no justification for charges and no one at the hotel seems to want to liars with me. Beware!!
It was my second time staying here. If you love beautiful spaces, art, amazing food then this is your place. About a 15 min walk to Grafton and Temple bar areas. Has great pubs and restaurants only a 5-10 min walk away. Highly recommend!
I’d have liked it to be a bit closer to the shopping but otherwise it was a lovely room, nicely decorated with everything you would expect - and a Japanese toilet to boot, which was a first. The staff were friendly and informative. Overall it could not be faulted.
I was so looking forward to staying at this hotel for my birthday and enjoying the facilties.
We could not reserve the times we wanted in either the bar or rooftop. The bar was closed for a private event all evening.
We were advised that our room would be guaranteed by 3pm. On arrival at reception it wasnt and were were switched rooms. The decor in the room is beautiful and has all the mod cons but it was tiny. Just enough room to walk around the bed.
The said private event had really loud music and a dj. The vibrations were literally pumping into our room. For the cost of the room and the lack of priority for guests, I unfortunately could not recommend this hotel. We checked out and left at 9.30am. I am so disappointed and wish i had chosen elsewhere.
