Wonderful stay

Beautiful hotel, beautiful gardens, very clean, amazing breakfast, very easy to get into the city on the local Bus for €2.60 and for anyone wondering the hairdryer was great! And it has an elevator which is a bonus. Would have liked to have a microwave and mini fridge for my drinks.

A mix of tradition with modern upgrades

Except for the noise of a family celebrating an occasion (which is acceptable and out of the control of management) our overnight stay was good. I liked the modern upgrades in the traditional shell, and the location was easy to get to and convenient to the airport.

The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful, always greeting me with a smile and ready to assist with any inquiries. The check-in process was smooth and efficient, which I appreciated after a long journey. The room itself was cosy and well-appointed. It was clean and had all amenities, including complimentary tea and coffee. The bed was comfortable, ensuring a deep sleep. Overall, my stay at the Lucan Hotel was delightful. I think some time cleaning the shower tiles would help the cleanliness score. But it was a clean room and space in general. There was a fan provided, I regret not setting it up as the family room got very warm at night, it was a very small space. Food was good.

Could find nothing that was an issue with our stay. Room was clean, warm and for the first time, actually catered for the number of adults in the room. 3 mugs, three glasses, adequate pillows and loo paper. The anount of stays we do where they know there are 3 adults and there are only 2 supplied. Both mornings, we were away sharp. 1st,diningvriom was opening when we were leaving, staff allowed us to box up a breakfast and take it away. Last morning, a Sunday, we were leaving an hour before dining room open, so they laid on a continental style takeaway breakfast. Fabulous. We ate in the bar on the Saturday evening, great food, good portions and friendly staff. We'll be back
