The Wellington staff were the best! They were friendly and hospitable, willing to work with us in storing our luggage and cleaning our room while we were out and about. The area around is full of shopping and restaurants and tons of bar options! The room was a tad smaller then we had anticipated but for Europe it was okay, and the bed was super comfortable. Not having a fridge or microwave was a little precarious but we made due! The O'Riordan Bar being downstairs was so wonderful and the staff especially the cook, Michael, made our trip fun!

Great stay! We booked four rooms at this hotel. My husband lost his father a few years ago and we swore off giving gifts for the holidays, and started taking them places. The rooms were great, location was perfect, and the staff was excellent!

DO NOT BOOK AT THIS PROPERTY!! Despite reserving and paying for this room through Expedia, I was charged in full by the hotel upon arrival. We did not have anywhere else to stay, so we were put into a corner. The reception desk encouraged us to reach out to Expedia to resolve the situation but both Expedia and the hotel were unhelpful in resolving this issue. The hotel apparently will not respond to Expedia or acknowledge that they have charged my account twice for the stay. Still disputing this issue with no resolve. As for the room, the shower water was scorching. Despite moving around the faucet settings, the water was unbearably hot. We called the reception desk to inquire about them taking a look at the faucet but they never came. We checked in with them again, they assured us that there was a “boiler” issue and the shower would “cool off.” Obviously, this was not the issue as the sink water temperature was just fine. The woman at the reception the next morning even acknowledged that this other individual at reception the night before did not tell the truth and the room had been experiencing this same issue for weeks.

If you want to experience the city up close and personal with a mix of comfortable accommodations smack dab in the middle of everything - look no further than the Wellington. Very hospitable staff, tons of things to do right there, clean, comfortable. Will definitely stay here again.
