We stayed at the Berkeley for 4 nights at the beginning of our vacation, and 1 night at the end. We recommend it to anyone who visits Dubrovnik. The breakfast is delicious and the staff is absolutely wonderful. (reception, breakfast servers, cleaners) They go above and beyond to be helpful and friendly. Seriously, these people are awesome! The bed was very comfortable. There are no restaurants in the immediate vicinity, but there are several a short walk away down a flight of stairs to the port area. (If you have mobility issues, this might be a problem.). We easily caught a town bus to the Old Town from the port area. The main bus station is also a short walk away.

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay at the Berkeley Hotel. We only stayed one night, but the room was very clean and spacious and the staff were friendly and accommodating. The location was very central in the Gruz neighborhood, and the pool was also a nice touch. We only wish we could stay for more days.

Lovely small hotel with great location just minutes walking to Port of Gruz waterfront. Easy access to buses with 10 minute ride to old town. Breakfast was well done with good variety of food and great cappucino. Swimming pool was a great treat after a hot day. Staff were friendly and very helpful.

Perfect overnight stay..

We only stayed one night, arrived from Montenegro feeling tired...Checked in and room lovely and clean, large room with double bed spotless bathroom and even a fridge. Pool area looked lovely, but didnt use it. Breakfast a nice selection , perhaps the hot items could have been hotter. But a lovely overnight stay before flying home.

Cute boutique hotel near the port of Dubrovnik

Cute boutique hotel near the port in Dubrovnik. The staff was super friendly and the stay included a breakfast which was so tasty. There’s not much around the area as the main attractions are in Old town but it was perfect for us as we were boarding a boat in the port. Would highly recommend.

Dubrovnik - great hotel

The hotel accommodated us to get us 3 beds in a room. Room was very comfortable and lots of places to put our clothes. We had a view of the sea and could see the cruise ships in port. We were within walking distance of the Ferry port. The front desk was especially helpful in obtaining a driver for us to go into the hills to see the village our Grandmother came from. Breakfast had a lot of variety and was quite good.
