Grand property. Large and spacious. Direct access to a pebbly shingle beach. Nice friendly staff. Good food at the restaurants although rotating / changing the buffet options would have been good especially for breakfast. Lots of choice. Other tips - Walk along the promenade to Lapad. Walk along the promenade around Coral Bay venue. Take Bus 6 to and from the Old Town. Buy bus tickets from the shop in the hotel. Concierge services in hotel are good to book trips. Nice souvenir shops restaurants especially Asia (great Chinese food) in the small shopping precinct.

This is a 5 star hotel with all the amenities. It has outdoor and indoor pool. Amazing breakfast buffet and views to go with it. There is a us that takes you to old downtown right in front of the hotel. This is the place to stay in Dubrovnik

This is a magnificent property with a beautiful beach, excellent food and a promenade to walk on that has spectacular views. This would be an amazing honeymoon destination. So clean and the people are all helpful and nice.

The staff at the Valamar are absolutely fantastic. Having been to a few luxury hotels this stands out as they are open, welcoming, warm with no expectations of an immediate tip or the indifference on not getting one. The location is amazing close to the pubiic transport with dubrovnik pass, food options and amazing beaches and promenade walk. But still tucked away in a cozy corner of the island. For me personally the massage at the hotel, the spa services and pool plsu the protected beach snorkelling area was the most amazing experiences. The room was comfortable with on point room service and plenty of amenities. The only downside the breakfast quality needs improvement. Still couldn’t stop me from recommending to everyone I know. Great value!!

We spent 3 nights at this hotel and it is a great place. All rooms are ocean facing. The Staff was incredibly great - I would give them 100 stars !! They have live music on 6th floor from 8-10 PM and we enjoyed music while having dinner. Breakfast was included and it was fabulous - sitting by the ocean and eating fresh cooked food and fresh squeezed juices was like living in heaven. There is a bus outside the hotel that takes you to old town - very convenient

outstanding property, but even more remarkable, its friendly courteous and professional staff in all areas, from front desk to dining, to spa, and maid service: uniformly delightful and helpful. Property has wonderful access to private beach and dock, incredible views, and nightsky. 2 pools, one indoor heated, and outdoor fresca, and swimming area in ocean. Truly wonderful. Spa amazing with wet / dry sauna, immaculate, and clean spacious airy gym with cardio as well as bench /free weights. Breakfast was superior with abundant meat/fruit/ vegetable choices, plus amazng fruit juices and champagne...truly Presidential. Evenings on terrace bar with live music. Several outstanding Dinner / Lunch options, incluing Vilarmar at beachside, and private, elegant restaurant on 6th floor. Memorable stay, and I will return if back to Dubrovnik. Easy Uber ride into town but quiet, safe, luxurious seaside location. Worth every cent of premium cost!
