We spent 3 nights at this hotel and it is a great place. All rooms are ocean facing. The Staff was incredibly great - I would give them 100 stars !! They have live music on 6th floor from 8-10 PM and we enjoyed music while having dinner. Breakfast was included and it was fabulous - sitting by the ocean and eating fresh cooked food and fresh squeezed juices was like living in heaven. There is a bus outside the hotel that takes you to old town - very convenient

outstanding property, but even more remarkable, its friendly courteous and professional staff in all areas, from front desk to dining, to spa, and maid service: uniformly delightful and helpful. Property has wonderful access to private beach and dock, incredible views, and nightsky. 2 pools, one indoor heated, and outdoor fresca, and swimming area in ocean. Truly wonderful. Spa amazing with wet / dry sauna, immaculate, and clean spacious airy gym with cardio as well as bench /free weights. Breakfast was superior with abundant meat/fruit/ vegetable choices, plus amazng fruit juices and champagne...truly Presidential. Evenings on terrace bar with live music. Several outstanding Dinner / Lunch options, incluing Vilarmar at beachside, and private, elegant restaurant on 6th floor. Memorable stay, and I will return if back to Dubrovnik. Easy Uber ride into town but quiet, safe, luxurious seaside location. Worth every cent of premium cost!

Outstanding hotel
We were very impressed with the prime location, exemplary service and excellent amenities. The room was spacious and spotless. The breakfast and dinner buffet were of high standard. I highly recommend Dubrovnik President Valamar hotel for its serene atmosphere, friendly staff and outstanding service.

We left a sweater in the closet and by the time we asked front desk to find it the cleaning crew (unsure who else would be in the room besides them in the hours after check out) took it already. We feel this isn’t really expected at a facility of this caliber and just wanted to leave a note for others to double check since if you leave anything it will be GONE even if the front desk are helpful. Otherwise good stay and facilities were nice and well kept. Front desk were very helpful.

For a 5* hotel only to have Nescafe Classic coffee in bedrooms is poor. Coffee apart, the facilities & staff were excellent. Brilliant breakfasts in beautiful restaurant.

Great stay at the Valamar. I got an oceanfront suite and the view was amazing. The air conditioner did not cool properly and upon request they will turn it down. It was saying it was 20 but it was really like 24 and too hot. They will come and have the ability to turn it down though. I got the room and half board which included breakfast and dinner and the buffet was really good, live music and a great view from the deck. All in all a great place to stay.

Great size room and balcony with amazing views. Staff were very helpful and friendly throughout our stay. My only negative is that the fridge in the room was too small and because it was full of bar and soft drinks which you pay for it didn’t have enough room for us to put water in.

Absolutely wonderful hotel! From the moment we checked in to the moment we left, we had a wonderful time! Highlights were the pool - so quiet and peaceful with amazing views. Prosecco at breakfast - never had that before at anywhere I have stayed! The staff - all so attentive and helpful. The only negative I would say is that they didn’t offer complimentary water with dinner. It would have been nice to have had that included (as with breakfast where you could help yourself to bottles). I think that would have been a nice touch. But other than that, it was a perfect stay.
