No changing of gloves between dirty & clean tasks.
With both bkft meals the 2 different employees served the food, cleaned off dirty tables, then served the food again, WITHOUT CHANGING THEIR GLOVES. Being in Healthcare, this really bothered me!

I was given a “city view” room. The windows were fogged up between the panes and the view was the roof line of the entry which was disappointing. The room was very clean and it felt safe.

Good option in Canal Park
Accommodations were very good, hotel was clean, staff was great and the complementary breakfast was better than most. Room was clean however the windows had a moisture film on them that made outdoor viewing difficult. In addition, our vehicle was parked directly under a parking lot light and straight out from the front door but when we got to our car the following morning we discovered that someone had been in the car and multiple items were missing. Apparently I forgot to lock the vehicle the night before so that is not the hotels fault. There was no visible damage but a number of items were gone, approximately +/- $300 worth. We then filed a police report. All in All, I would stay at this Lodge again.

Very clean hotel & rooms. Nice view of the water. Comfortable beds & nice pillows. 4 to each queen bed. Nice shower. Tub was deep but small, best for kids size. Nice to have both a microwave and refrigerator in the room. Great location in Canal park. Very walkable to shopping & walking around to see ships come in , restaurants, shopping and just for leisure walks Very friendly service. Breakfast was good. Nice assortment of things to eat. Had s'mores at night. Which is not advertised that I saw. I heard another quest asking about them. Nice patio with fire pit outside to make them on. Nice other quests too. Only small cons was that s'mores were not advertised and no robes in our room as advertised. But not a deal breaker. I'm sure if I had asked about them, I would of gotten them. Will definitely be back! Fair priced among other hotels in the area. Breakfast was better than the 2 meals we ate out at restaurants. We stayed in room 345. Very quiet and away from elevators.

We last stayed here in 2019, and had forgotten what a great facility this is! The proximity to so many businesses means you don’t have to drive to find shopping and dining options. The complimentary breakfast was very good.

Room was pretty clean tub could’ve used a little bit more attention near the knob to turn water on was a long black hair. I’m a blonde short hair and that’s about the only issue but the room was comfortable clean didn’t smell. The staff providing food was stellar the people who were working to keep the place clean were friendly and hard-working. Check-in was and checkout was quick. I really like the place and would gladly come back.
