Building is very dated and feels a bit dingy, but room was clean and bed was comfortable. The one employee I interacted with was friendly. Breakfast and amenities are limited. I only chose this hotel because the hotel I usually stay at was unavailable. I had a nice enough stay, but wouldn't choose to stay here again unless it was all that was available.

Our room was clean and spacious. Refrigerator and microwave worked well. We had a pretty good view of lake superior and weren't that far from the lakewalk. There was nothing hot for breakfast options but did have cereal-bagels-muffins and yogurt. We enjoyed our stay.

The hotel was easy to find and affordable, but access to our room from the lobby/breakfast area was difficult, especially with an older adult with mobility issues. The breakfast was very limited.

We arrived later at night and the front counter staff person was very welcoming and friendly. The spaces and room were clean and stocked. We were asked by house keeping, while passing in the hall, if we needed a restock on anything as they don’t usually stock daily. Everyone was very kind and the location was near the lake with options for eating nearby. We will be back.

Continental breakfast was pretty lame cold cereal and plain bagels, English muffins and yogurt. The pictures on the website showed waffles and a lot more pretty disappointed.

3rd floor lake side rooms have good view of Lake Superior harbor, and I believe most or all rooms here are dog friendly. Included breakfast was fine / good enough.
