It felt run down and was not at all worth the 220 per night I paid. Broken light fixtures in the hall., had an odd smell. The tile in the bathroom was cracked and broken.

Old building that seems to need more upkeep—windows needs washing, hallways feel dingy, etc. But there were friendly, helpful staff and adequate breakfast.

In a handicapped room, the shower is within a tub. It is infested with knots. The entrance has a very rough entrance - tough to move suitcase over. Sheets are clean but very thin.

Good price. Room was clean. Bed was comfortable. Was it 5 star quality.. no BUT for the price... I was was very pleased. The real pro is its location.... if you going down to Duluth for Shopping... stay here

This hotel was terrible. I don’t leave reviews but I’m going to. The first room we had they forgot to finish cleaning the bathroom, the floor had hair to a visibly sticky spill and walked through area. Got a new room. One bed had three firemen’s hair types under the pillows, other bed was clean so we slept there. In the shower there was a hair on the wall, no big deal, can miss one easily but I took the shower curtain out and dirt and hair fell out of it. To top it off there were roaches, one small one I thought was a bed bug but then a second large one. Killed both and told staff, said there was nothing they could do because we booked through a third party. Then look at my bank statement and had an extra $35 charge and $6 charge from the hotel not the third party after leaving the room just as we found it…other than killing bugs for them. I left them on the counter of the bathroom so they could see what they were dealing with and hopefully correcting the problem.

The front desk staff person was excellent and very competent. She was basically running the entire hotel by herself. The maintenance staff were non-existent and of little assistance for a broken TV and the request of a rollaway bed.

We booked this place because it was the cheapest place with in 25 miles of the north shore of MN. Holy cow was that a bad choice. The room was supposed to be a non-smoking room with 2 queen beds. The problem was who ever was in the room before us left cigarette ash on the window sile. Also the bathroom door had 2 punched out holes in it. and the A/C unit didn't work. Too make matters whose the pool area smelled like mold and the whole property looks the owners haven't spent any money on up keep since 2009.

Liked the breakfast, room was good. Coffee maker had water and mold in it but was replaced quickly. Internet was down when at arrival and could not connect, available wifi did not even register on phone, only downfall

Facility is in poor condition.

AC did not work ... they fixed it and then broke again... TV did not work, shower hot - cold did not work well..... no stopper in shower.... no elevator.... Parking lot was in fair condition.... Breakfast was very minimal...but the room was clean. $110 sadly does not get you much.

The Hotel had extension cords running down our hall the whole length of our stay with fans or something going in other rooms. The parking lot definitely needs a major renovation. Our bathroom had a terrible odor to it. To me it smelt like cat pee. My family thought a mix of cat pee and nody odor. The vent in the bathroom was very dirty and dusty. There was rust all over. My husband and my daughter both got shocked by the light switch.
