We very much enjoyed our stay at the GG Barnum Mansion. Wonderful property. We had confusion at checkin, we had to call after we arrived o get a guidebook and lock combination.

A shower built for someone maybe 5 feet tall doesn't cut it in 2025. A shower full of black mold-means we probably won’t ever be coming back. Oh yeah, the hair dryer will probably start a fire if its left in use for much longer. Its got a cracked handle and the electric cord gets hot to the touch after using, or attempting to use.. Neat place, but you can do a tad better.

I would have liked to receive the check-in info much earlier. Using my phone number was good, but I feel I got the information somewhat late. The morning food could have also been mentioned with signup. It was hard to find out how to turn up the sound on the TV, and my phone and Ipad couldn't find the wifi channel. It never showed up even when I type it repeatedly. With no one there, it was hard to get info.

Lovely and peaceful stay

What a lovely find this was! Our room was really beautiful but also functional and comfortable. This is possibly the first hotel/rental place I’ve stayed where the couch was actually comfortable lol. Nice quiet neighborhood, and didn’t hear any more noise from other guests than you do at a standard hotel. We will definitely stay again!

Nice place, Have been there before, Booked on the day of arrival, so understand that coffee, popcorn ... isn't stocked. But, couldn't get the ceiling light switch to work. Nice sauna. May have tried it if I hadn't arrived so late. Looking forward to you planting the grounds. Love the sound of the creek.
