Good location for bentleyville. Priced higher for the event. There was some noise - but it was mostly for folks in the hallways. Room to room noise was not an issue. Would stay again.

It was easy to get to and convenient for where we wanted to be in canal park. Lobby was nice and staff were welcoming. The bed was not made and dirty from previous guests. Toilet was not cleaned. We called and housekeeping came right away to remedy it. Walls are very thin and you can hear everything in the room next to you.

Comfortable & spacious, great location

Wasn't sure what to expect based on others' reviews, but was pleasantly surprised. We received a ground floor room with a window, super high ceilings and a kitchenette, making the room seem huge. The two double beds were very comfortable. The bathroom was small and could use updating, but was sufficient. Water in shower should be hotter. Breakfast was decent, better than some. Lots of seating available. My daughters used the pool, which was very busy & noisy. They said the hot tub was lukewarm and got hit by a flying ball while in it. Location is great even in mid January. We attended a figure skating competition at Amsoil & DECC and were able to walk there and back. Lots of restaurants and shops nearby and close to everything.

My family and I stay here almost once a year because it is very spacious and you have great access to Bentleyville for Christmas and fireworks for the 4th. It is reasonably priced but it is quite loud and glad they did update the pull out couch mattress(at least in the recent room) as I’ve normally not gotten a great nights sleep. Have never had the breakfast since Duluth has too many great options in that realm to waste stomach space on hotel buffet stuff. The staff has been pretty nice and accommodating. I do recommend it for those on a budget. There is a chance you’ll have a room without a window so treat it as a place to rest. Given the size of the rooms and amenities it could be good for someone needing a long term stay.

Excellent stay. Worked perfect for us. We will use this hotel again. Pay attention. Dogs are allowed and they are all over this place. If that is a problem, don’t stay here. There are steps into the building but once inside no stairs.

Front desk staff are unprofessional and lacking in customer service. Our 1br “condo” looked like a rundown cheap hostel with mismatched, torn, stained, oddly placed furniture. The bathroom was weird and dark and the shower head wouldn’t stay at a proper height. The bedroom was fine minus the torn lamp shade and mismatched bulb colors that gave the room a dystopian feel. Everything about the room felt low-budget. The staff at the front desk were super rude when we needed keys repaired to our room when they lost their coding through an error on their end. We felt like an inconvenience for needing help with the desk attendant audibly sighing and rolling her eyes at us and complaining about having to reset the key. Super unprofessional. Our 8 yr old daughter picked up on the odd behavior and asked why that person was being so mean. The lobby is rundown and shabby. The only thing this place has going for it is location. Would be amazing if they could get it together and invest in the facility and paying to hire more professional staff.
