Good for a couple of days, but not more than three
Its a bit dated but relatively good for a short stay. Doors are heavy and old so they do slam (you can hear guests coming in and out, but condition of soundproofing is decent. Could do a refurbishment considering the roundabout access to the hotel is also doing so.

road works at the entrance to the property meant that you had to take a very involved detour to access the hotel after 7:00pm. Extremely inconvenient. No warning of this was given at the time of booking. The road works are continuing until at least March of 2025.

It was just a fleeting visit, but the staff were lovely, the room was clean and the bed extremely comfortable. I take occasional trips to Dundee and will definitely stay there again, and spend some more time actually in and around the hotel.

Excellent base very welcoming
Repeat visitors great base a bit complicated gaining access on Friday due to roadworks but apart from that great stay as usual. The staff are this hotels greatest asset. Every time we have stayed we have experienced exceptional customer service and friendliness credit to whoever recruits and trains staff. Gym and pool /spa clean and warm

The road works are awful, a 40 minute drive to go what should been 3 miles .... no apology from hotel. Every item in the room has an expired PAT test... not so good 😕
