Beautiful hotel in amazing location. Quiet and comfortable. Great spa and nice friendly staff. A bit disappointed with the restaurant, few options and not great quality.

The location and grounds are beautiful. Very helpful staff particularly in the dining room. Room was comfortable and well decorated. Have used this hotel several times over the past few years and its a lovely getaway. The only areas that could really do with a tidy up are the carpets and woodwork in reception and ground floor.

This hotel was recommended to me as nice country estate with good staff. The hotel was in fact very good I enjoyed the room large, very comfortable large bed, warm and nice hot shower with very good cleaning daily. I used the indoor pool, sauna, and hot tub they were clean, warm, nice towels provided sorry I didn't have time to try the spa. The restaurant buffet breakfast was excellent with great selection of fruit, cheeses, bakery goods and deli meats each morning. Dinner menu had great appetizers and desserts, the standard nightly entrees were very good, the nightly specials were more hit or miss. But overall the best were the entire staff from cleaning, pool area, front desk, and restaurant/bar servers everyone was so nice and responsive to any question or request. I also used one of the on-site activities County Clays for a shooting lesson and the teacher Dave was excellent.

We weren’t told that we had to book to eat in the bar after being checked in. This was a bit disappointing as it wasn’t full and we couldn’t eat before the our dinner reservation later in the village. Otherwise the stay was lovely :)

Beautiful entrance to the property through a castle-like arch. After check-in got to choose between whisky or sherry as a welcome gift! Decor was elegant and cozy. Patio overlooking the Tay River. Gorgeous outdoor space. Delicous food. Town of Dunkeld and Birnham are hidden gems.
