James was very friendly and made the check in fun. Room was clean, although bare bones. Bathroom door did not lock and fan didn't turn on, but no inconvenience.

We arrived late Friday night. Only second floor rooms were available. My wife can’t climb stairs, so the desk clerk gave us a free upgrade to a first floor extended stay room. The next day the desk lady did her best to help me find my missing cell phone. But later in the week we had to ask three times to get toilet paper and hand towels.

We slept.

We were looking for an inexpensive place to stay in Durango, and this fit the bill. However, the mattress caved in the middle and should have been replaced probably 10 years ago. We weren’t too thrilled with the daylight around the door.

The room was dirty. When I got into the shower dirt was in the bottom of the shower from my feet from walking in the room. The hotel was rundown and in much need of remodeling. They never gave us new towels or cleaned the room when we were there.

The room was small but clean. The stairs and hall ways were very dirty and needed maintenance. Parking-lot not very well lit. The web pictures DO NOT really show the poor conditions the property as it is today.....

Not the best of options but not the worst either!

This has been the least expensive hotel on that day in Durango and you get what you pay for. Not much here. The rooms are semi renovated I would say. Cheap reno with the worst tile work I have ever seen in my life. But it was clean and since I was there only for one night, literally to sleep, I did not care.
