We were not told that you had to request to have your room cleaned.. Never had our beds made , always had to call down for clean towels, never had our trash emptied.. Very disappointed for $293.00 a night..

Beds are very hard and uncomfortable. Breakfast was horrible. Booked this hotel specifically for this option. When I went downstairs it looked like a war zone. Spills and trash all over the breakfast area. Juice machine was not working, no milk for cereal, coffee was empty, no hot water for oatmeal, no batter for waffles. Eggs had a strange powder in the texture. Showers / tub combo is different depending on the room. Front desk receptionist was awesome. Very helpful and great customer service.

When I tried to check in the lady at the front was extremely rude. Didn’t even look up from her computer to acknowledge me. After denying my check in another family of a different skin color walked in and was allowed to check in right away. Never experienced racism until now. Will never be standing here again. Also the breakfast was terrible.

The front desk clerks were very friendly and obliging. They gave us a second story room, but when she saw I was handicapped, they moved us to a first floor handicapped accessible room.

This hotel was VERY understaffed. There was only one person on duty each. morning, responsible for guest concerns and putting out the breakfast. Each day of our four day stay there was an inadequate amount of food for breakfast. When asked, the attendant said that someone forgot to order eggs... the staff was either not empowered or did not show any initiative to make the decision to run to a local store to purchase eggs, leaving the guests without enough to eat. There was mud and dirt all over the back stairs. We were told they didn't "do" housekeeping on a daily basis, but when we asked the attendant to have someone remove trash (which we left outside the room), the trash sat in the hallway for two days. The location of this hotel is uniquely situated in a very difficult to access, weirdly designed set of roads, and was a true nuisance to get in and out of.

Most of the property is nice. Some trim on doors and floorboards need attention. And, the desk chairs don't go up and down so it was impossible to use the desk. Otherwise, check in was fast and easy, staff was friendly
