The toilet smelt like a sewer, damp or rot I could not sleep until 5:30am due to exhaustion the smell was really bad, tried to call to change rooms as there was nobody there but I was offered 25pound coupon and to leave my room with my wife and 2 children. Terrible service.

Simple, but great!
The common B&B experience - simple but clean and comfortable. Restricted Reception hours still somewhat annoying, but staff were great when they were present. A good stay.

Hotel charged me twice for one booking

Wir waren für ein Coldplay-Konzert in Düsseldorf. Einchecken vor 15:00 war leider nicht möglich. Anscheinend waren die Zimmer noch nicht fertig. Leider auch nach 15:00 Uhr nicht..... Das Personal hielt es nicht für nötig die Leute zu informieren das es noch etwas länger dauert. Ansonsten sind die Zimmer recht klein - also einen Koffer sollte man besser nicht mitnehmen. Einzig das Frühstück verdient ein Lob.

Wir hatten mit 4 Erwachsenen ein Familienzimmer gebucht und waren überrascht über den Standard (Betten, Größe des Zimmers, nahe Straßenbahn gut). Sauberkeit im Bad nicht perfekt aber alles im allen eine gute und vor allem günstige Unterkunft für unser Konzertbesuch in Düsseldorf.

Wir waren um 12:00 Uhr vor Ort. Der Mitarbeiter teilte uns mit, dass der Check-In aktuell nicht möglich ist. Das Zimmer wäre ab 14:30 Uhr verfügbar. Waren zum angegebenen Zeitpunkt wieder an der Rezeption. Die dortige Dame war völlig überfordert und meinte, Check-In erst ab 15:00 Uhr möglich, wie auf der Internetseite bekannt. Daraufhin haben wir bis 15:00 Uhr gewartet. Beim Online Check-In war unsere Reservierung nicht mehr verfügbar, obwohl bereits bezahlt. Daraufhin sind wir wieder zu der Dame an der Rezeption. Diese gab uns den Zimmercode mit dem Hinweis, sie waren gestern ausgebucht. Im Zimmer angekommen der große Schock, es war überhaupt nicht geputzt; Konfetti vom vorherigen Gast noch schön im Zimmer verteilt, Badezimmer nicht geputzt, hier gab es auch noch abgeschnittene Finger- oder Zehennägel (einfach ekelhaft). Einzig positiv: Bettwäsche und Handtücher waren frisch. Haben im Flur einen Staubsauger genommen und selbst das Zimmer fertig geputzt. Nach einem Powernapping auf dem Zimmer und wieder Ankunft gegen 24:00 Uhr, beschlossen wir, hier nicht übernachten zu wollen. Nie wieder B&B Düsseldorf!
