There is no insulation in the rooms, the sounds on the stairs are as if they were in the room, when the cleaning starts in the morning, you think he is in your room, there is no employee to return to, breakfast must be with the room, a simple breakfast, but Expedia gave me the room at a high price without breakfast.
Good location to the Music Halle if you are going to a show. Fairly quiet area. No elevator and stairs were steep and narrow so that makes heavy luggage an issue. No internet or Wifi anywhere but right on the main floor when you enter, which is a problem. The check-in is all self-done as there is no one there I ever saw for the day I was there. Rooms tiny, but OK. No airconditioning, which would be a problem in summer time for sure. I was there for one night for a show at the Music Halle and it was fine. Anything more than that would not have been ideal. Safe, clean neighborhood but nothing fancy. I would use the word "adequate" to describe the place and entire area, in general. It really is more of a guesthouse. Calling it a hotel is a stretch.
Good location. Good service. Very good breakfast a lot of attention to the detail. Parking needs to be booked ahead of time and so please take note as otherwise it can be a challenge.
I chose this hotel from Orbitz for its location close to Mitsubishi Elektrik Halle (easy walking distance) and that it was a real Old World experience -- it's not Holiday Inn, it's an old-style family-run hotel. Although the rooms are small, how much time do you really spend in your room anyway? There is a lovely sitting area in the courtyard, and a delicious buffet breakfast provided every morning (including eggs from the friendly owner's farm). Step outside the doors of the hotel and you are in a lovely residential neighborhood with plenty of little shops and restaurants and easy access to excellent public transport. The stairs are a little steep. winding and daunting if you are an older person or have a disability that makes stairs impossible. All others will find this charming little gem a very pleasant place to stay!

Hotel is in a residential area not much else there. Its a good 30 minute walk to the centre!
A great boutique style hotel with average sized rooms. No lifts so beware the flights of stairs! Each room seemed to have a different theme and the couple who ran it provided a very good breakfast. Reception is not manned all the time but we had no problem getting our keys. The hotel is in a residential area and parking is on the street.

The people were rude at the hotel. They only have front desk staff a few hours a day. It is not worth the money. So many nicer options closer to the center of the city
Lovely pleasant stay. Hotel was handy for city centre via efficient tram system. Helpful owners. Point to note is that there is no lift and steep stairs
Super hotel with fantastic customer service and beautiful decor! The manager is very helpfull, provides lots of information about public transport and tourist information. He even takes the trouble to look up the best connection to your destination and prints it out for you. The location of the hotel is quiet and you can sleep well. It is not right in the centre of Dusseldorf, but there is a tram stop close by and the metro is a short walk. I would definately go back there.
