The Ruby Luna was an okay hotel. I was only staying for one night but if I was staying for longer I think I would have been disappointed. The breakfast was a total waste of money I wouldn’t recommend. There wasn’t even croissants or toast. There were bread rolls, yoghurt and fruit in syrup, selection of jam, boiled eggs and some cold meat. It was odd that it didn’t have breakfast pastries, fresh fruit or a cereal selection. Really weird that you couldn’t get toast too. My colleague asked for tea and was told to get it herself. Save the money and buy breakfast outside the hotel. The room was clean, I paid for a larger room and what was so strange was that there was a single pillow on the double bed, I have stayed single occupancy more times than I care to rem With work and I have never come across a hotel that removes all the pillows and leaves a single one. It was really odd. The room amenities were fairly basic, a shame there was no water in the room or coffee facilities. The bathroom was a weird set up, you had to walk through the toilet to the shower and the shower was clear glass open to the rest of the room. The room was fairly noisy at night too. Overall it was a modern style hotel, clean, front desk friendly, wait staff could be a bit more helpful though. I wouldn’t stay again, I don’t think it was worth the price paid and was more style over substance.

The property had a very comfortable lounging area where I could sit while my family slept in the room upstairs. And there was free flowing coffee as well.

Check in process was supposed to be “self” but it wasn’t really…… very complex more than it needed to be. Staff was nice. The reservation was for Queen room for 2 people! It only had 1 pillow and 1 towel! We had to ask for added pillows and towels and had to go to front desk to do so as there was no phone in the room. The bar was great and bartender was great

Ruby Luna hotel was in a good location. Walkable to Alldstadt (old town) and restaurants and shopping. Rooms were bright and clean. Robert and the rest of the staff were cheerful and accommodating and fun to chat with. Would recommend this hotel.

The rooms are tiny and all the fittings are sharp and angular with zero space for moving around especially in the dark. I have several bruises and a particularly nasty shin injury from smashing into the huge metal bed frame which sat 2 inches proud of the mattress. All the fittings were too big and sharp. All the electronically controlled lights and blinds were slow to respond. It really was not a comfortable relaxing room. The advertised roof-top bar was never open. The aircon barely worked and it was over 30 degrees outside. No fridge, no tea or coffee facilities in the room. The whole gimmicky theme was too much. They should concentrate on being a hotel and not a theme park. Certainly do not choose this hotel if you are over 35
