Room 42 was impeccably clean and well appointed. We had plenty of room for the two of us and our doodle. Super quiet location and comfy bed made for a great night. Bonus was meeting our friendly neighbors and sharing a cocktail (or two!)

Loved this place! Less commercial vs. other hotels and has the charm of a 70’s Inn. Room was comfortable and fairly basic but good value. The beer garden deck was nice just to sit back and relax and watch the boats go by. I would highly recommend this Inn and we will definitely be back.

What a lovely resort. We pulled our pontoon up with us, and had no problem finding a pier every day. We had a heck of a storm roll through, and the staff had all of the downed trees and debris cleaned up so quickly. I loved that housekeeping was always just a text message away, so if you only needed 2 towels and the floor swept, they were in and out in no time. The bar and restaurant area is a lot of fun- the day it rained, we holed up overlooking the lake and played cribbage. Everyone was so friendly, and we already can't wait to book again for next summer.

The room was clean and the Lake view was very nice. What i didn't like about our room was that the bathroom was so very small. The shower was hardly big enough to turn around in. The large king bed was very comfy. Thank you Barb

What a special place! We extended our stay for an additional night because we were enjoying ourselves. Our room by the tennis courts was clean and comfortable. The view of the water from the property was beautiful. Convenient restaurant and bar on site. The access to Dollar Lake made for a sweet morning walk. The staff were very friendly and obviously working so hard to make sure everyone was having the best stay! We look forward to another stay at Chanticleer in the future!

My family has been coming here for 40 years and while I hadn’t been in 20, it’s still a great experience. We stayed in the 50’s rooms and while small, the room was updated, clean, and comfortable with views of the lake. My children enjoyed the sandy beach and playground and there is plenty of room to walk and relax on the property with gorgeous views. The bier garden, bar, and restaurant are great amenities and classic Northwoods Wisconsin. So glad to see this place still thriving.
