My stay was wonderful...as usual! This is my go to place to stay when i come down state. Always comfy. The rooms are clean and the beds are very comfortable. The Inn itself is a bit dated but that is part of its charm.

Basic, clean hotel.
Basic, clean, not-fancy hotel. Absolutely fine if you just need a place to sleep. Quiet at night, comfortable bed. Does not have any amenities like a pool or breakfast, but there is a good bagel/breakfast place across the street.

Property boasts its Golden Era as the iconic Hotel of the 60's and 70's to celebrities visiting Long Island ... well, aside from the lobby and corridors which were remodeled - the rooms(*unfortunately) have been left preserved and untouched since that golden age of Hollywood ... (!!) I found black mold cracking through the walls and shower grout - carpeting that was sticky and had a scent of mothballs - an air conditioning unit that rumbled louder than a twin engine jet --- oh and I was met by a less than happy property manager who scolded me for parking my SUV in their front parking lot where there is a sign that loudly states NO TRUCKS !! ... I apologized but it didn't lessen the tongue lashing that continued for another 10 minutes. I was too tired to argue ... too tired to demand a refund so I slept w. one eye open and

It was a lovely old inn that I have passed over the years but never stayed in. The room was comfortable and clean but it was old and probably could use some updates. It suited our purpose and we felt safe and enjoyed our stay
