Brilliant location we have stayed there many times since 2016 always 2nd January and we always enjoy our stay. However the check in could be a little easier not being familiar with the I Pad. The hotel looks in need of freshening up but is comfortable and clean The restaurant manager at breakfast was particularly helpful on the day of our departure

We enjoyed the stay very much. The only two complaints I have are, the toilet is little outdated hard to flush and The tower hanger was broken. Breakfast was amazing especially the traditional Scottish breakfast.

The most beautiful view of the castle! Right from the window. The hotel is in a perfect location where everything is so accessible and the main attractions are so close yet it is in such a quiet place. So many amazing restaurants nearby. The hotel has great staff and the rooms are very clean and organized. Amazing hotel, definitely recommend!

Amazing location, wonderful view! The balcony was absolutely incredible. The staff is very accommodating and friendly, you will have a great time here! Make sure you don’t mistake the hotel with “Apex” or “Grassroots” down the street. This hotel has a large sign with the full name “Apex Grassroots”.
