Parking is the worst part
There’s no parking for this property so if you have a car you have to drive and park it across town in a lot that costs over $30. To park in for one night. And then you have to walk 15 minutes back to the hotel with your stuff. There’s no available street parking because it’s all for residential only or you get ticketed. The room itself was nice and had a view of the city. The lift was a bit questionable. It seemed very old and sounded like it was going to break as you ride inside but the rest of the hotel interior was beautiful and enjoyable.

Unfortunately, I do not remember the two front desk people we dealt with. It was a very helpful gentleman and Lady. They both were great. The breakfast staff was very friendly and helpful. Overall, great staff!!

This was a charming place to stay for our visit to Edinburgh! Located in a great spot with easy walkable ways to connect to public transportation when we desired to. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious! I would definitely return to stay again!

My family really enjoyed staying at this b b. The views were absolutely stunning from our room! And oh my goodness the library is so beautiful! We were able to walk around straight from our door and go shopping and get dinner. Very lovely property! The only downside to this property is the inconvenient parking, which I understand comes with the location. Just be prepared to walk a distance from your car to the b b. Otherwise, highly recommend!!

Had a great experince, very cozy hotel. The only downside was the toilet seat will not stay up, so you had to hold it up each time you wanted to go to the toilet. Either way, lovely staff and good enough food.

Stayed at the accommodation for a weekend stay in Edinburgh in September. Positives - staff were excellent, very friendly & helpful and nothing was too much trouble for them to help us out, breakfast provided an excellent food selection for all tastes & preferences, hotel was clean and room was a good size & fully equipped with everything you could ask for inc. tea/coffee making facilities, hair dryer, fan and toiletries. Negatives - due to the age of the building the windows are double glazed so prone to getting noise from outside, lift only fits 2 people and is slow and you have to wait if there’s a queue. Finally room 9 where we stayed is right outside an adjoining corridor door which slammed shut whenever it was used which woke us up early both mornings with early risers going to breakfast or checking out. All in all though, it is a great place to stay for a short break & the staff really are very helpful.

We loved staying at the B&B Edinburgh. The building was very quiet and beautiful. The staff was amazing and very friendly and welcoming. Caitlin at the front desk was very helpful and knowledgeable about the area and local restaurants. The bed and room was inviting and very comfortable. The charm of this hotel was evident in its appearance, public spaces and position. My room was perfectly adequate for a single traveller and had a spectacular view over the Village of Dean. I found all the staff I dealt with particularly friendly and helpful. There was only a limited bar menu for evening eating in. Plenty of dining choices within walking distance.

B B Edinburgh surpassed our expectations. On a lovely, quiet street so near where we wanted to explore, the inn felt tucked away AND right in the middle of historic, beautiful Edinburgh. The staff really made every wonderful. The breakfast menu was varied and plentiful. On one night, a friend met us for conversation and a cocktail in the first floor library, and I was so grateful for the cozy lighting and private, spacious room to entertain. A real gem!
