Lovely Stay on the outskirts of Edinburgh

Had a lovely stay at King's Manor. It's situated midway between Edinburgh city centre and Musselburgh, with good bus links in both directions right outside the hotel. My room was clean, comfortable and quiet. And the food was delicious especially the Haggis, Neeps and Tatties.

They asked me to leave a review and give them a rating of 10. Here is why they don’t deserve a rating of 10: 1. They had plenty of parking on site yet charge customers for the use of the car parking. It was subsidised but not sure why we need to pay for additional parking when they have their own 2. The hotel was dates, carpets looked loose in places and like they needed a good scrub 3. The rooms were small and the bathrooms tiny 4. We requested our rooms to be cleaned and changed, none of that happened
