Nice hotel, would stay again
Really lovely building and new areas nicely done. Pool was great and staff friendly. The only thing that let it down was quality of the food, it was fine but not great. I also got surprise cheese in my omlette (a lot of it!) which i had not asked for which doesnt boost confidence if dealing with intolerances or allergies. But would stay again, its a great location for accessing edinburgh.

Staff were all friendly and helpful, property was beautiful as well as the surrounding grounds. Property is positioned conveniently close to Edinburgh, only a short drive away. Food was excellent and service at the bar was prompt and friendly! 10/10 would come again!

Friendly staff (front desk folks are wonderful), nice and clean rooms, quick bus ride from the heart of the city. Would highly recommend especially if you will be staying with children because of the nice pool.

Stayed here many times before. Paying this price for a room you do expect a decent room. Room was very dated. We ate in the restaurant it was really good but freezing we shifted tables but still cold. The young lady at the restaurant desk was lovely closing the curtains which did help.

Great place to stay.
I have stayed here every year for 8 years now and totally love the hotel. The hotel is spotless clean, the staff are very polite, friendly and helpful. The only complaint I have is that the disabled parking bays are not monitored, I have trouble walking but had to park the other side of the carpark because an ignorant person parked in disabled bay then took out his golf clubs leaving the car in the disabled parking bays for 2 days without mooving it with no disabled badge.
