Our new Edinburgh base

This hotel was amazing! You can walk to it form the airport (8 minutes) or use their shuttle. Room was spacious, king bed was huge and comfortable. We had drinks in the lounge and dinner in the restaurant. Service was like that at a five star restaurant. It would be a breeze to stay here and use the tram into Edinburgh. we didn't get a chance to take a swim but their pool is enormous. And they also have an on-sight spa and fitness room. This may be our new Edinburgh base.

We chose this property because it’s close to the airport and car rental, which made everything very convenient. The room was comfortable and met our expectations. The restaurant downstairs served decent food, making it easy to grab a meal without going far. Overall, a convenient and pleasant stay.

It’s a shame that being a Hilton Honors member - as we were told by the front desk - means absolutely nothing. Our room was satisfactory, although only for an extra fee, is one is upgraded to a room with A/C.
