Rooms were dated but everything worked which gives it a 5. I did have trouble turning the shower head water off. It kept coming back on. Nice staff that fulfilled every request eagerly. I would stay here again.

My second stay here and it was spectacular….. especially the food and server Louise! I was lucky enough to get her again and she even remembered me! Food was 5 star- no exaggeration! Check in was fast and friendly…. What a lovely way to end my holiday in Scotland. I come every year and I will be back to the doubletree in 2026!

Hôtel was very nice. Dinner was wonderful at Hôtel restaurant. Rooms very comfortable and convenient to have airport shuttle. The chocolate chip cookies is always a plus.

I liked the proximity to the airport and that even with that they had a shuttle. The only thing that I didn't like was that I could hear everything from people walking down the hallway to alarms from other rooms.

The breakfast was not included, and a little pricey considering the hotel. The shower had low pressure and the tub was clogged. The carpet also smelled. It was fine for 1 night, and I only booked it for the shuttle to the airport.

Room with double beds .. should have had nightstand in the middle and phone for wakeup was on other side of the room. Very inconvenient. Also, why don't hotels have at least a small bar of soap??? I HATE dispensers in the shower .. always too high. I know it's a cost thing, but really? You're charging plenty for the room! Also, challenging and dangerous to get in and out of the shower for someone my height .. 5 ft.

Chose this hotel after our Airbnb turnednout to be in a seedy area of Edinburgh that felt unsafe. Nice location very close to the airport. Staff was very nice and the restaurant and bar were very convenient

I appreciated how close the hotel was from the car return and the airport. The road system though was congested and confusing to navigate. They had a great generous breakfast, restaurant and bar with easy access for the weary traveller. I found the cost expensive at approx $600 Canadian dollars a night.
