Great staff, location, clean, and nice hotel!

The location was perfect. We were close to many restaurants and the Edinburgh Castle. Everything was so close to walk. The hotel was clean and the staff was friendly and professional. If we're ever in the area again, we'll definitely stay here!!!

Lovely hotel but a pool would be a great addition.

It was a very small room but had a good air conditioning system which was essential during our heatwave visit (Aug 2025). Lovely staff. The breakfast was a bit disappointing, waffles and pancakes, which I was looking forward to, were both hard and not freshly cooked. The hotel is very well situated in town.

The decor was dated, but clean enough. The rooms are really noisy. You’ll hear every time the neighbors close their closet or walk to the bathroom. The “skybar” is advertised but we were told is inaccessible all year because of private events. The area is safe and quiet-ish though. The pillows? Those things are heaven. The bathtub is a bit of a death trap.

Very nice hotel, friendly staff. Beds were very comfortable. Short distance away from major attractions. It is near some strip clubs, but not noisy at all. We had no issues.

Well located at a good price.

Really nice, clean hotel. Well located, within walking distance of major attractions with the added benefit of a bus stop outside for the hop on, hop off service. Only slight negative was the knowledge and communication of staff at breakfast. My wife is coeliac and the information varied depending on who you spoke to. She ended up using her own cereal to be safe.
