I never want to stay anywhere else while in the city. Eden Locke provided the best stay possible. Rooms are spacious, clean, and stunning. The property itself is adorable with the cafe downstairs serving great coffee. It’s close to major sites and many good restaurants in the area. I would highly recommend for your stay in Edinburgh.

Great hotel/studio very clean and new. Bed was very comfortable, staff very nice and willing to help. Location was prime. We walk every day since all places are from walking distance. Plenty of places to buy food, as well as entertainment

Well located and nicely designed apartment. The quality was impacted for two reasons. Firstly, the rooms are really dark and use cold lighting rather than warm lighting. This has the effect of making the apartment feel shadowy and clinical. This could be an easy fix by installing more powerful bulbs with a warmer hue. The second issue was that I paid for a late checkout but when it returned to my room after breakfast, th me staff had started turning the room over for the next guests, several hours before the checkout time. I did raise this and the late checkout fee was waived, which was appreciated. With some improved lighting and better communication amongst staff aboit checkout times, this could be a great place to stay.

I stayed here for a whole week while visiting Edinburgh for the first time. The staff was super friendly and welcoming as well as accommodating. The location is perfect for local shops and restaurants as well as some local night life. It is also just a few minutes (walk) from the Royal Mile and the castle. I also enjoyed that it has a washer and dryer which was super convenient! Highly recommended!

I had a wonderful stay at Eden Locke this past week! It is fantastically located near Princes Street for great shopping and also where there’s a great view of Edinburgh Castle on Castle Rock. The room came with some amazing touches like a sound machine to help get rest. We think one of the fuses was blown in our room but we were amazed at the amenities in our room like a 2-in-1 washer/dryer, Fridge, oven, stove, and more. The room was amazingly well maintained and comfy. We were able to check in early and the front desk staff was so sweet and kind. Shoutout to Natasha for the early check-in help! Great stay!
