Despite the hotel being clean & staff being extremely friendly & helpful, the hotel has a major floor. The building is showing it's age & the effectiveness of the double glazing is minimal which means you can hear traffic noise from the main road all night long. Also the bathrooms are looking very old & in need of refurbishment which certainly don't tie in with the 4 star rating. I did complain about the noise & the receptionist was quick to offer me a 25% refund which I gratefully accepted. Marriott should invest in refurbishing the building so as not to detract from their staffs hard work. Unfortunately I would not recommend this hotel to my friends and family
