The location is spectacular but thats about it. Staff not very friendly. The rooms are expensive yet very small. The hotel is noisy at all hours. This is the 2nd time we have stayed here and will not choose it for a 3rd time.

It’s a great place because of its location, just around the corner from St Giles Cathedral. But I enjoyed my previous visit there two years ago better than this one. Seemed cold and corporate this time. It’s a lot of money, too, and without breakfast seems overpriced. TV is quite limited, and the little sofa is not comfortable. Kitchenette is great as is the bathroom with its overhead shower and towel heater. The round table in the main room is nice. Overall, I recommend the Fraser , but really they should offer a breakfast buffet for people like me who always stay for a week or more.

We were pleasantly surprised with the Edinburgh Fraser suites. We had an upscale apartment with plenty of room. Location was great—walked right outside to hear bagpipes and could walk to all the historic buildings from there. The only downside was there is no parking on site so we parked at a parking ramp about 6 minute walk away. It was easy.

We enjoyed our time in this very clean apartment that was a central location in Old Town and also very walkable to New Town. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. While it was not an issue for us as it was not yet their tourist season, this particular apartment's bedroom might be noisy at night due to the location in relation to a well-used set of outside stairs. Something to consider if you are a light sleeper.
