NO Desk assistance
Dinner served in restaurant was not eatable. The steak was like cardboard and veg. raw
the breakfast was just as bad as the dinner. They had a special, if you bought dinner you got breakfast the next morning for free. The over easy eggs were so rubbery I had to use a knife to cut them. You could have used them as a frisbee. The room was nothing Like in the pictures. I would never recommend the place to anyone.
Lovely hotel with good breakfast and eco friendly attitude. Only issue was when requested cleaning at 1030am and an extra towel (only had 1 for 2 people) it didn't happen until the next day.
Stayed for 2 nights, the room is clean, staffs are friendly. Hotel is very close to royal miles and everything. Highly recommend this hotel if you want to stay close to Edinburgh tourist hot spot. Also very close to the train station which is very convenient no need for public transportation.
Rooms were clean and beds were very comfortable. Maintenance was responsive and efficient when needed. Staff at front reception do double duty in the dining room so when needed, you have to go find them. Very close to Royal Mile and meeting points for tours. Hotel keeps our bags when needed.

No staff at front desk for questions. Bathroom water not draining well. Had to walk on water to go to sink.
Staff was unavailable and hard to get room clean…you need to notify staff by noon for housekeeping and there was rarely anyone at front desk to notify
When we arrived they sent us to another property just to be told we were booked at the first property
Tub/shower were very hard to navigate…steep and narrow and difficult to manage
