We really enjoyed our stay at the Royal Scots. Our room had a great view over the park and the staff was very welcoming. Our room was very clean and I loved the decor. The location was great as it was just a couple blocks from the restaurants and shops but nice and quiet in the evening. Parking was the only hiccup but that was the fault of the parking meter and not the hotel. Ended up parking at OMNi which was just a couple minute walk. Would definitely stay again!!

Lots of history in the building. Our room was in the nearby annex (4 rooms here). There are steps down to the area. The main hotel is a few steps away. There is a lounge/waiting area if you are early for check-in. Breakfast is served in a lovely dining area and we did try out the evening meal as well. Reasonable prices and nicely presented and great food.. Nearby shopping and the tram to the airport is a short distance away (albeit uphill) Would definitely stay here again and would recommend to anyone coming to Edinburgh who likes history.

I loved the Royal Scots Club!!! It is old and elegant but complete with every convenience and updated amenities. The food was excellent and I enjoyed both dinner and breakfast there. I will definitely return on my next trip to Edinburgh and I recommend it to all.

The Royal Scots Club is a lovely hotel in a very pretty part of Edinburgh. I found the staff friendly and very helpful. The hotel is a throwback to another era in a good way, very charming. My room was large and comfortable and the bonus was the park across the road! thankyou for a lovely stay! I have already recommended the hotel to a friend

We had a very pleasant 7 day stay at the Royal Scots Club Our room was in the annex which involved going down some quite steep steps but staff were very helpful with our cases. The room itself was warm, comfortable with plenty of storage and two armchairs. Tea and coffee facilities were topped up daily. The general lounge was a great place to relax after a busy day in Edinburgh. It’s also really close to a bus stop with regular buses to the city centre The only criticism is the fact that the breakfast was always served too soon to the table and consequently was cold by the time we had finished our cereal
