Exceptional hotel, staff friendly and helpful, room upgrade and meals voucher. Our signature room was beautiful and you could see Arthur seat out the window. It was definitely a wow room.

So much charm and character, all delivered with impeccable quality. The breakfast is particularly outstanding!
The property is beautiful the room that we stayed in was lovely comfortable only problem it was on the 3 rd floor no elevator so keep that in mind when booking. Food was delicious staff were all very kind and helpful.
The Salisbury inn across the street a block has excellent food for our dinner but you need reservations! We had si day roast which was perfectly cooked
Very nice location within the University of Edenborough. Optional dining at The Scholar next door. Very clean with turn down service. Excellent breakfast. No air-conditioning but provided a good fan. We would stay again.
Beautiful hotel. Excellent service. Staff was extremely friendly , helpful and knowledgeable
Beautiful art. Super comfortable bed. I will say that for visiting Edinburgh, it's not convenient. it's quite a distance from town. i'm sure it would be fantastic for visiting children going to the university. Our room was beautifully appointed, but the bathroom-- As vast as it was-- oddly lacked Any hooks or places to put things or hang towels.
The area around the hotel was absolutely beautiful and then when you entered the hotel you realized how amazing the interior turned out to be. We enjoyed the sitting area with coffee and tea and loved to sit there in the morning before breakfast. Kudos to "Ed" who always had a smile and went out of his way to assist. This is a hotel you want to visit.
Just got back from a 2 nights stay at the Scott hotel and there was no complaints what so ever. The building , decor and rooms are stunning. The staff were so helpful and friendly. The breakfast was delightful. Would highly recommend.
Our stay was quite comfortable and we spent a large portion of it out and in the city, the wait staff in the bar was not the friendliest nor communicative. Slow to take our order and had no idea what a Tom Collins was? Brought a gin and tonic instead.
Fantastic service, booking was for sister-in-law and partner, partner on a break from cancer treatment, hotel upgraded room and left prosecco and chocolates, fantastic touch, will definitely be using the hotel again
We visited The Scot for its proximity to our daughter who was studying abroad and was housed on campus at Holland House. It was a quick 2 minute walk! The staff we interacted with were all pleasant and helpful with any questions we had. Our check in was delayed until extremely late due to flight issues but Sophie was waiting for us and got us checked in and settled quickly. Our room was phenomenal (room 17) and both my husband and I loved the robes and slippers as well as the coffee, tea, cookies in the morning and turn-down service every evening. I will definitely recommend The Scott to anyone who is thinking about visiting Edinburgh in the future.
