Good points: - clean - quiet and dark at night - comfortable - bath in room - hot tub was good Bad points -Pool was closed for maintenance which isn't mentioned on booking and the reason we chose this hotel over better placed ones. -The cups in the room are tiny, like espresso cups so not useful if you drink tea. -We put a sign on the door as instructed, for having our room tidied, came back at night and wasn't tidied.

We had a great stay. The property is quite a walk out of Edinburgh centre but we enjoyed the walk and Ubers didn’t cost much to get you there.

We needed a place to spend the night before flying home, and this was a good choice. It is 23 minutes from the airport, and there is a gas station right across the rode which came in handy for refueling our rental car. The room was comfortable, and the shower was very good. The restaurant was nice, with reasonably prices food and drink.
