This hotel was my favorite hotel I’ve ever stayed at. Exactly where you want to stay in Edinburgh with walking distance to everything. The room was large and design so nice. We loved it!

Loved the location, very quaint. Accessibility was good. Room was pleasant...but struggled to get wifi connection with Three mobile but O2 connection worked. Had a little bit of an issue with food trying to order lactose and gluten free foods was difficult and their options precluded one but not both which made it difficult they sent a rocket salad with rocket and cheese which had lactose. If eating out this wouldn't be an issue. They had a DJ for hogmanay but didn't give it enough Scottish Hogmanay Emphasis only counted fown the last 15 sconds and then straight into ABBA songs....fine if I was in Sweden but I felt it could have had a stronger scottish theme from the DJ and the crowd looked a little "Is that It?"

What an expectional experience
What an experience. Greated by a welcoming, warm, professional concierge who took us to the reception. We were upgraded without ask to a faboulous room, and handed a small gift. The room was cozy, warm, quiet. The hotel overall was magnificemt. We had a drink at the bar. Great staff, honest price for the scale of the venue. Overall an experience I will remember. Good location, disappointing breakfast.
Location was great and we used the valet parking. Our Chamber room was nice, toilet and shower were separate with the wash basin in the room, personally don’t like this. Large selection in mini bar but only Tennants as the lager offering. Most disappointing was the breakfast, we had a look at the buffet option which we could tell was Luke warm so opted for the freshly cooled option, this was also Luke warm and to be honest looked as if it had been taken from the buffet! Staff were buzzing around in the breakfast room dragging tables around to reset but paying no attention to the guests still eating breakfast.

Overall, it didn't meet my expectation. There is no real bed for my double-bed room, there're two small pull-out sofa beds. For the price you pay, and vibe created, I should at least get real beds. Room was not ready after 3 pm and I had to keep reminding them that I have upcoming tour scheduled and needed to complete check-in. It was frustrating. The receptionist who checked me in did not bother to follow up on my room. Overall was a disappointment. The concierge was the only attentive staff and was kind to help when my room was not ready. Location is good. It's a disappointment besides that.

Didn’t think it was worth the money, over priced for what it is. Noise from nightclub nearby kept us awake as well as the room was cold on first night and no instructions on how to use the utilities. Managed to get the room warm by the time we were to leave.
