Perfect location in Old Town Edinburgh. Walkable to many things worth doing and seeing in the city. Loved the balcony option to look out, only downside is the younger folk do stay out till 3am

Disappointing. First, the good: location, roof deck, common space decor, cleanliness, staff warmth. Second, the not so good: room design, quality of room finishing, layout of property, breakfast quality. Overall: this felt like a good four star hotel rather than a five star. We were in the smallest room category and had no complaints about the size, but the layout of the room and materials used in finishing the room fell far short of a five star experience. There is nothing wrong with the property, but if you are expecting a five star experience, lower your expectations.
