Bed bugs was in room 222 which was terrible. Otherwise its location, stuff, breakfast, room facility like kitchen was best part. Local transportation, grocery store, Prayer Mosque, resturentd all are nearby/ within walking distance. Breakfast was really good. Bed bugs identified on last day but suffered from beginning. Not only that it's given trouble for my all family members and after effect of that cost me a lot. I will never visit over there again and it's give me a new thought of visiting any hotel should check before get in.

This is always our hotel of choice when we stay in Edmonton! The staff are very friendly and even remember us. We are there mainly for medical appointments at the U of A, which is easily accessible from there. Also have friends and family members close by, so we can visit while still having our own "home" to go to. The prices are reasonable. The rooms are clean. The beds are very comfortable and there's enough pillows! Anywhere else I have to ask for more. Love Argyle Plaza!

I will stay at the Argyll again, the staff were friendly and efficient. They let us check in early and gave recommendations on places to eat. We went to Edmonton for the Bowling for Soup concert and the Argyll is right around the corner from the venue. The staff even called me when we were on our way home as they thought we had left our poster there. Awesome

First time staying at this hotel. Place is very dated, common areas are worn and dirty. Chairs in the room had much of the coverings torn off. Smell of weed throughout the hallway and in my room from someone in an adjacent room smoking. Definitely will not be back. Pay the extra $20 - $30 and stay somewhere much nicer.

Clean & Comfortable
Our room was great - clean and comfortable. It was noisy on the Saturday night. We think it was the base from the bar music, and the wind whistled, as we were a corner room. The staff were friendly and helpful. We were pleased with the room. We will be back.

This hotel is a great option if you're looking for an affordable stay. While the building is older and not particularly fancy, it is kept clean and well-maintained. The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming, making the overall experience pleasant. The breakfast, though simple, is tasty and includes a variety of options like eggs, juices, cupcakes, jams, peanut butter, cereals, yogurt, and milk. If cost is your main priority, this hotel is highly recommended.
