This was a great location across the road from the West Edmonton Mall. I was there with my two grandsons, and we each had our own bedroom and bathrooms, which was quite a luxury. We found the beds a little bit hard for our liking and the pillows a bit too thick. It was also a little bit, disappointing that there was no supply of dishes and cutlery in the unit and it was necessary to ask for them at the front desk. other than that, it was a very pleasant place to stay while visiting the mall.

Our stay was wonderful—the staff were friendly, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and the location was perfect. I truly appreciate the hospitality and would happily stay here again. Good location

The staffs are super friendly. The location of the hotel are near to all restaurants and the mall. Just a small problem i book a queen bed but the bed feel like double. Aside from that its great!

No frills hotel

No frills hotel.We just stayed 6 nights. No pool, no gym. Hotel is right accross from WEM, right beside Jollybee and other restaurants, as well as right by a bus loop. The hotel is clean, and the cleaning ladies do clean nicely. It is a brand-new hotel and the front line staff is nice and pleasant. There is a liquor store right underneath the hotel, which is pretty convenient but also brings homeless people, lots of them all around the place, day and night. Beds are hard, like my hips were hurting so much by day 2, had to book a chiro appt afterwards. They could not accomodate my request for a foam, or mattress toppers, could not change me to a different room as they were full. Had to fold one of the blankets in half to be able to sleep better. Pillows are very high as well. I saw someone's comment before arriving and brought my own pillow. Best decision ever. Hotel is new but built cheaply, toilet seat did not fit toilet bowl, wallpaper peeling off, washroom door not closing properly (too tight), room door had to be manually closed as it wouldnt fully close when we left a few times. There are lots of rolls of fabric just laying behind parking stalls. They provide a dishwasher, microwave and a good size fridge. But if you actually want to use plates you have to ask reception and buy your own cloth and soap. Breakfast options are good but food is actually meh, very tasteless. After 3 days couldnt eat anymore. I would go back for one or two nights max, no more.

We’d booked three rooms so our family could enjoy time at the West Edmonton Mall and the Baymont was the perfect location with the mall being right across the street. Keannah checked us in and she was so friendly and helpful, starting our weekend getaway perfectly. Our rooms were at least twice the size of most hotel rooms, with so much counter space, a microwave, fridge and dishwasher. The continental breakfast area was small, but sufficient for us to get a bite to eat every morning. The area around the property seemed typical for big cities with a few homeless people wandering around. We never felt in danger, but we were aware of our surroundings.

The hotel is very clean. It is very accessible if you are planning to explore the West Edmonton Mall, you can just cross the street (approximately 10 min. walk to the nearest Mall entrance) The hotel also prepared a simple surprise for my son's birthday, we greatly appreciate the gesture. The rooms are in pristine condition and with 3 big TVs on each area. I would definitely recommend staying on this hotel.
