No real complaints. The staff were super nice, accommodating. The beds were comfortable, the room was very spacious. Breakfast was delish, even though it was your typical hotel breakfast. The pool / hot tub area was decently maintained. Only bad thing I would say, was we got quite a large amount of snow, and the parking lot wasn’t really plowed.

When we checked in, they charged a damage deposit to our credit card on top of the prepaid amount for the room. We were told that the damage deposit would be refunded at checkout. There was no damage. It took a month of communication with the hotel to get the damage deposit amount refunded to our credit card account. Seems like a scam to us!

Best Western in St. Albert was a great property to accommodate our hockey team. The banquet space allowed us to feed our team with home cooked meals throughout the weekend. Thanks for being flexible.

My only complaint is that the hot tub was not open, but it was closed for maintenance so really not a reason to leave a poor review. The breakfast spread was exceptional. My partner and I had access to everything we needed and had a lovely stay.
