A solid good hotel. Sure, it needs a bit of updating, but you can't be the helpful staff and great location making access around town very easy.

Very disappointed. Got a suite. No tub. Breakfast provided was not good the bed was hard we had terrible sleeps. The room came with drinks and appys and it was closed by 8pm and we went down for the game and we won’t be returning. For 150 it was one of the worst hotels we stayed at.

We booked a room to be close to rogers for a hockey game, and ice district was a 5 min walk away. Not our first time doing so either. Very professional staff, excellent restaurants and beautiful views from the room. Will be a regular stop for us!

The room is clean and the beds are comfortable. We stayed here for the new years so it was a convenient location to walk in the downtown to watch the fireworks..parking was easy as wells since they have a parkade attached to the hotel. We just had a disappointing experience with the business lounge. Our stay included a compliment access to the business lounge but there were no food available for us. We waited for an hour to get it refilled but there was only 1 server that night. She said she needed to go down to get more food we didn't have time to wait any longer so we never got it any to enjoy. Overall staff is super nice and our stay was very comfortable. Would definitely stay again.

We had a bit of a problem with the bathroom light in our room but after bringing it up with front desk we were swiftly switched to a different room, the staff were super polite and friendly and the parking garage, although not cheap, was awesome to have. The price was reasonable for the room it's self, however an extra $20 per person for breakfast buffet in the morning didn't seems so in my eyes so we didn't partake. It is dated and is showing its age however it was still a pleasant stay overall.

I have stayed at the Chateau Lacombe many times in previous years and always raved about the sleeping arrangements. Comfortable mattresses, fluffy pillows and duvet covers you could get lost in. This visit there were 2 cheap pillows on the bed, mattress was ok, no longer duvets on the bed but rather a sheet and a blanket. No fridge in the room. Had to call for a fridge. I would stay due to the comfort despite the location being out of the way. Now that the comfort is no better than a standard motel, I will choose to stay in a more convenient location. I did not receive my Skip the dishes order as apparently there is a drop off outside the building?? Front desk staff did not alert of this when we inquired. Limited dining, no room service, no restaurants in close vicinity. Homeless people sleeping in the parking garage, no security in garage to be seen.
