The lady that checked us in was not very friendly. She was abrupt and when we asked about transportations options to get to rodgers place, she acted annoyed that the front desk could call a taxi for us if we just dial 0. The facility is locked up at 5pm and you have to use your key cards to even get into the facility. 5pm is very early for this saftey protocol, people are still arriving and checking in. The room had a smell too it, when we opened the window, there was a gap at the door and it kept banging back and forth. The ice machine was broken on the level we were staying in and we had to search to find another location. The only convience was that it was only a 10 minute taxi ride to rodgers place.

Check in was good. We were put in another part of the hotel not attached to the main building, was unaware at the time of booking (perhaps an overflow building) Building was run down smelly and outdated. Outside the main door was a grey car parked with looked like people living in it, there was people coming and going to and from the car till late in the night( obviously drug deals going on) was approached by a lady of the night asking if I was looking for a good time. Later on in the evening I could hear through the walls that she found someone to share her good time and went on for quite some time. The room was not very clean, stains on the chairs, bath tub had rings and was filthy. Not impressed at all.

The property was older, but clean. However the area around the property is not the safest part of town. The staff were amazing and the restaurant had phenomenal food.

The hotel was clean enough but dated, was given a room in the “new building” but it was quite old. There were homeless people hanging out all around the outside of the building, going through garbages and sleeping, felt a tad unsafe especially at night. All night from 1-4 the people in the room above were fighting, yelling, stomping, and having very loud relations. Walls were thin didn’t get any sleep.
