Very loud air conditioner

The air conditioner in our room was sooo loud. Everytime it kicked in it would wake us up. We were exhausted by the time we got back to our room so mentioned this to the front desk in the morning. We received a “sorry about that.” Customer service has really changed over the years. A 10.00 gift card to get a coffee or even 10.00 off your stay when you paid 190.00 for the night goes a long way to have returning customers. Unfortunately I won’t be back.

Excellent stay. Good breakfast. The only negative is the impossible double blinds. I hurt my hand trying to open and close. Would much rather curtains. Other than that. Excellent. Will be back

The breakfast options were extremely limited and they were out of coffee on two of the days The wifi was extremely slow, plan on having your own data because the wifi is basically unusable We arrived to a note that housekeeping would come every three days. I would never have booked the hotel if I knew that ahead of time, the lack of cleanliness everywhere was very apparent. The pool had a basketball net but with no basketball. Overall very disappointed and not good value.

The hotel needs some renovations. The breakfast area was in the attached bar /restaurant and needs a good cleaning. The hotel needs to be thoroughly cleaned with some maintenance. The bed was wonderful.

Noticed a lot of uncleaned areas in the hotel room and breakfast area. The window in the room was full of finger prints and smears, the dolly to bring luggage up to the room also full of greasy finger prints, the restaurant eating area, the wood frame around the booths also full of fingerprints left from little kids. Looked it had not been cleaned in a very long time. Other than that the hotel was great. Comfy beds and pillows and very pleasant staff and great breakfast for a continental style. We were happy with our stay.

I’m absolutely disgusted by the so called service this hotel offered. In the city for my son to have a procedure at the Stollery. Booked one night as we live 2 hours from the city, needed to be at the hospital for 6 am prep. On booking the hotel, sent a message through Expedia to request a crib or playpen. I never heard back. The day of check-in, called the hotel to request one. The lady said no problem, they’d have it ready for us. On arrival (8pm approx.) Ester, the front desk, said didn’t have a crib, that the other staff member would have to call another guests room and see if they still needed their crib… Thank goodness other staff knew where cribs available, and able to bring one directly to our room. (Had I known it was going to be such a hassle, I could have brought our own playpen).Once in the room we had a late supper and I put him to bed. I noticed a tuft of fake eyelashes on the ground. Disgusting, but I brushed it off. The next morning I took a shower. On the inner door handle I found a huge clump of fake eyelashes… absolutely disgusting, very obviously room NOT cleaned. We checked out less than an hour later. Told the front desk I was disgusted and she gave me an email to send pictures to. I waited for a response by email, to which I got today saying I should have called when I noticed the filth, not waiting to check out… I WILL NEVER RETURN. STAY SOMEWHERE ELSE.
