Overall our stay was ok, but disappointing. We had hard time finding parking due to the teachers on strike taking the hotel parking. My friend was accused of having a fake booking due to his name. The rest of the hotel was fine, but I doubt I’d stay there again.

Breakfast was good. Staff was friendly. Area was quiet. I did not like random street people on the property. The hotel needs smart TV. The washrooms are too dated otherwise it was a clean hotel.

The facility could use a deep cleaning. The room was in poor shape. Dirty floor had obvious water damage which was painted over. Moldy tile grout in the shower. Just needs a good maintenance manager. Light was broken. Floor felt dirty. My socks that were white instantly became brown. So I walked around with my shoes on.

When I entered the room there was a musty smell/odor coming from the bathroom. The receptacles by the bed were old and could barely hold in a plug. Needs renovating/updating. Bed was comfortable.

Hotel common areas smelled strongly of food. Noisy wedding venue played very loud music until 1AM. No parking available at property, despite paying extra $20/night. Rooms were clean and staff was friendly.

My room was very clean, the staff were great. I forgot my phone charger and the front desk let me borrow one of theirs for the night. Breakfast was very hot and filling. They had pancakes, muffins, toast, begals, juice, coffee, tea, eggs, omelets, sausages, bacon, yorgurt. Beds were comfortable and the blankets nice and warm. The shower was just the right pressure. The room was very large. Yes your going to see houseless people around but you will in any city so that was ok. They didnt ask for anything and one gentelmen even wished me a good evening. There is a pool and hot tub but I didnt use them as I didnt have the time but they look nice Will definitely stay again
