The hotel was a palace when it was newer. Fitness center, pool, squash courts,underground parking. Now it is a little dated and going through some renovations. Clean, big rooms. Underground heated parking in -30C is a gem. Good value for the price. Great location. We will stay here again!

We always try to stay here, how ever twice before check out time, housekeeping were trying to come into our room asking if were are staying another night. Second time I got angry when they opened our door i stated its NOT passed check out. As i had the bathroom door open and I was using the bathroom. They arent aloud to enter the room until we are checked out or after check out time. Nothing was done when i told front desk. Just got an apology at check out. Thanks.

We stayed 2 nights in Mid February. We were pleasantly surprised by the size of the room and the cool courtyard that overlooked a central courtyard. The room was in nice condition, was clean and comfortable. The king bed was comfortable however the pillows were not very good. Underground parking was plentiful and appreciated as it was -30°C at night. We used the hot tub and the only complaint there would be the people walking around the pool deck with their outdoor shoes contrary to the numerous signage requesting no footwear on the pool deck. For those that followed the signs we had to walk through muddy water to enter the pool area. Perhaps some monitoring by staff is in order. Overall we had a pleasant two nights and will consider for our next Edmonton visit.

Staff at check in was amazing and based on the lobby, I was excited to see my room. I was sorely disappointed. Seemed dated. Bed was lopsided, tile in bathroom was cracked. There were holes in the furniture and the linens were thin. Could have survived all that if the furnance didn't shake the walls and artwork every time it kicked in. Every 30 mins in would turn on and shake the room. Finally, at 230 am when we couldnt take it anymore we turned it off. Got a bit chilly, kinda like camping. Would not recommend a stay.
