This is one of our favorite properties so far. It was clean, well kept and looked almost new. There is a very tasty restuarant nearby, "Joe's Pizza and Pasta". Very yummy! The neighborhood was clean and well kept. Felt very comfortable walking around the area. We will be returning here for our trips out west.

Be prepared for an additional $50 incidental fee.
The hotel sprung and unexpected incidental fee of $50 in addition to the $25 pet fee at checkin. When I complained the clerk threatened to cancel my prepaid reservation. Criminals.

The room was very comfortable and clean. Water pressure in the shower was excellent! Was a pleasant surprise that they had hit breakfast in the morning and it was good!

Looking for a place to stay between Texas and Michigan and thought I would try the Cobblestone. It was nice to be greeted right away with nice & wide parking spaces. It makes it easier to get your bags out, and not worry about door dings. I was concerned about the quality of the hotel since it is not a brand name, but I was very pleasantly surprised! The lobby was clean and organized, the elevator was also clean and NOT in disrepair (like most hotels), the room was clean and had everything needed. The mattress was actually comfortable and the pillows are not paper thin. The gas station next door is pretty new and very convenient. I believe I have found my new spot to stay for my future trips.

I have stayed here before with no issues. This time we were in a room on the side closest to the highway. There is a lot of noise from traffic as we were trying to get to sleep. The curtains would not close very well and there was a lot of light coming in from street lights.

This hotel is always so clean and comfortable. The beds are extremely comfortable and I got a great nights sleep. The provided breafast was hot and included items such ss scrambled eggs, crispy bacon, waffles, pastries, and great coffee.

We drive to St Louis from a few states away every couple of months. Altamont is the perfect City for a quick stopover 90 minutes before STL. Rooms and public spaces are immaculate, very quiet and a walkable neighborhood right outside to stretch the legs after a road trip. All this for half the cost of staying in the big city. This is our go to hotel!

The property was very clean. I thought the bed and pillow were great. The pillow was not a flat piece of paper like usual motels. The area around the property felt so safe. I stayed here with my daughter and as soon as we got our things in our room we went for a walk down the street and to the awesome convenience store next door with tons of snacks

This place is a diamond in the rough. I rate it as high as any Drury Inn. They installed new carpeting too. Location is quarter mile from I70. Breakfast is very good. Eggs, bacon, cereal, breads, juice, coffee, vending, waffles and more. They even allow pets.
