The property is quite a distance from the city however, it is manageable since there was an available trike to the city, there was a restaurant around the property for your cravings. The staff are kind and accommodating. special mention to Ms. Rose and Ms. Kim.

An OK hotel relying on location.
This is a hotel on Lio Beach (100m away) in El Nido. I got the impression that because it there it is assumed that this is enough and attention to details are not necessary.
First off, 40 minutes late getting picked up at the airport (having used their 'private' airline Air-Swift). Secondly, shower overflowed into the bathroom due to a blocked drain which was easily fixed by removing the accumulated hair, not a pleasant thing to have to do.
The staff, as always, were eager to help and we were offered a late check out due to our 17:20 flight which was appreciated (although the receptionist at checkout had not been informed and we were temporarily locked out of the room that had all of our possessions inside).
I have travelled extensively in the Philippines and stayed at some much nicer places for the same price or less. If this hotel wants to continue to attract future clients then it needs to up the game a bit and not rely on its location.
The room was comfortable enough and nearby facilities offer some good food and drink options.

The hotel has access on the beach and restaurants. Room is fine, I hope they put small desk with paper and pen. No hand soap and bath soap in the room, the staff did not refill the bottle, good thing we brought our own. Breakfast is excellent for Filipino guests because there’s variety but if your a foreigner they should add other choices like pastries, yogurt, ham. But overall I like the place and hotel
All of the staff were very friendly and professional.
The only problem I encountered was that several of the local restaurants did not have a number of items available that were listed on the menu.
This hotel is part of a group of hotels in an area called Lio beach and this particular hotel is literally a 2 minute walk to the beach. This property is 5 minutes from the airport and 20 minutes away from El Nido town proper.
There are multiple dining and shopping options here but I have to agree on some of the reviews here that it typically cost 50% more than in town. There’s an ATM and a drugstore in the vicinity as well.
The hotel offers shuttle service to town every hour starting at 8:30 AM till midnight. Or if you can’t wait, you can take the tricycle for 150 pesos or about $3.00/person.
This property does not have a pool or a gym. There’s a gym next door that charges 250 pesos or about $5.00/day to use it - which one reviewer here said was a shame and I agree with him because hardly anyone uses it and why do you need to charge to use it?
Offers breakfast in the morning which was simple and good. The room itself was small and basic. It has a safe and a balcony where you can hang your wet clothes. The property is showing it’s age - our room has several cracks on the wall. Some of the lights in the bathroom are not working and this is even after we called at the front desk to get it fix and it was never done.
Overall, it’s a decent property. You don’t really stay in your room when you’re in El Nido. If you want to go a little higher end, try Seda Lio next door. It’s about a 10-minute walk on the beach from this hotel and connected by lighted pathway at night.
Room had a modern yet traditional look and feel to it. Breakfast was amazing, served both western and traditional Filipino cuisine. Check-in was great, they pick you up straight from the airport as well as drop you off for your departures. Beach is just a 2 min walk away. A lot of restaurants nearby. Room was very clean. I would recommend it to family and friends. Probably one of the most upscale hotels around Lio. Hotel staff were nice and courteous. Lio itself was nice and peaceful. Make sure you check it out before they fully develop Lio to become the El Nido central.
Nice hotel, nice beach, somewhat secluded; however the free shuttle in to town was quite useful. Be certain that your in-room safe is functioning properly, and USE it: sticky fingers.

Good area, Good breakfest, very noisy every morning and the isolation between the rooms isn't Good enough.
This was not my favorite hotel, but I'm not going to deduct from the score as it will be 5 stars to other guests. The staff were friendly and mostly helpful. The rooms are clean and the breakfast is delicious. I went here with my wife. We like exploring, so something near El Nido proper will be better for those type of guests. We would definitely recommend this hotel who wants a relaxing quiet time. The beach is very nice and sandy. Most other beaches in El Nido are shelly/rocky. There are other amenities to rent out such as surfboards. However I would not recommend renting a surfboard as the water was low and one of the fins broke on the sand bar and it is expensive to replace. There are numerous restaurants to choose from. We ate at one and it was delicious. The other restaurants in the area looked great too. The room was a little small but cozy. Also the resort is only a 5 minute drive from El Nido airport.
Given the price they charge the hotel is quite spartan with basic rooms and bathrooms and minimal amenities. Shame about the gym not being included in the room rate. It was empty for most of the time. The breakfast was nice with plenty of choice. I appreciated the free shuttle to el nido town. The hotel nicely blends in with the surrounding countryside with tall coconut trees preserved during the development. Plenty of bars and restaurants on the beach front and the beach is kept clean and tidy.
Seaside resort with nice beach, far from town.
Few restaurants on side, with reasonable prices (+50% comparing to town).
Good shuttle service to El Nido town, however could be more frequent.
ATM on side.
Breakfast was typical asian style, with pancakes and some fruit.
Resort paths are covered with sand, with no car access. But the same sand covers also floor on corridors and in the rooms. Houskeeping staff does not make wet cleaning.
Staff at the Balai Adlao were incredibly friendly. The room was clean, comfortable and of a generous size. However a few elements could use some repair - the taps were all loose, the lights short circuited once, and the temperature of the shower was inconsistent - however these issues didn't bother us too much. A small but sufficient selection for breakfast taken in a lovely dining room.
The hotel is part of the Lio Tourism Estate with plenty of options for food and drink nearby as well as access to a beautiful beach. Whilst it is some distance from the main town there is a frequent shuttle service that will take you into the centre and back.
