Convenient to Yosemite. Way over priced for the quality. The woman who checked me in was rude and unfriendly. The Wifi was terrible. The bathroom was nice and newly remodeled. The lighting seemed to have a short in it or just didnt work, Im not sure. The power for the light downstairs was located upstairs which doesn’t even make sense but I think it might have something to do with the short? All in all I wish I had driven the extra 40 min to another place because this was not worth the price at all. If it had been $150 I probably wouldnt have taken the time to review it. But over $400 for this??

Proximity to the park and in room facilities were good. Limited overall hotel facilities with WiFi became unusable after 6pm, possibly due to number of guests. Room and hotel seemed "slightly tired"

Everything was great. Location was perfect for sneaking into the park before the crowds. The river view rooms and pools were a plus as well.

It’s really close to the park entrance, so it’s very convenient if you want to experience a full day hiking but want to get back to a hot shower and a nice toilet in the evening

Get away from crowds

Excellent! Stay, close to park. Maybe even better than being in the park because you got away from the crowds at night. Comfortable room, limited groceries available in store but welcome but helpful. Recommend a grocery stop before you get to Mariposa . Microwave and refrigerator helpful. Restaurant okay, not a wide selection . Breakfast was a buffet good but more food than we needed. Beautiful location on the river. Enjoyed our room on the river with a private patio Very Nice private Park on the East end of the hotel. Look for acorn woodpecker

Great location, disappointing quality

Great location, terrible quality over all compared to the price. Big facility, kept outdated. Bathrooms were dirty with hair and bad smells, it seem like they didn't clean it properly. Shower curtain smelled funky, hair products were worst kind, nothing got cleaned properly. Towels were yellow, carpet felt damp and sticky like it was never cleaned. TV signal and wifi were unstable, TV got cut out time to time and wifi was terribly slow, it took a long time to send out a simple text after numerous failure. Frankly, I could not do anything much using their wifi. Considering the location is not within mobile service, just consider to enjoy nature, and forget about being connected. There were no screens on the balcony door/window, bugs were in the rooms we had to kill many on the fist night. There were wasps outside the balcony, we could either live with the bugs or don't bother to circulate the air. Kitchen was there but things were not functioning properly. Fridge was barely working, and everything got stuck on the frying pan even with the generous amount of oil and low heat. Just forget about cooking anything in the facility and dine in one of their restaurants. I normally never complain about properties even if its in bad condition, but must to say this property was hard to not to complain considering the amout I paid. I guess the location had to be the reason for the price.

Absolutely love everything about this place! We had a room with a balcony overlooking the river and falling asleep to the sound of the rushing river was heaven! It's not far from the Park and parking was plentiful. Just beautiful!

Our recent stay at Yosemite View Lodge was a pleasant experience overall, with a few standout positives and minor drawbacks worth noting. The check-in process was seamless—quick, efficient, and friendly, which set the tone for the rest of our visit. Plenty of parking was available, making it easy to unload and settle in without any hassle. Our room featured a well-stocked kitchen, which was a great bonus for preparing simple meals. However, the electric stove was a bit finnicky—getting it to maintain the right temperature took some patience. Still, it was functional enough for basic cooking needs. The general store on the property was another plus—conveniently stocked with snacks, drinks, and essentials, making it easy to grab items without leaving the lodge. For dining options, the pizza place on-site was a hit—the pizza was really tasty, although we did find the beer prices to be a bit steep. On the other hand, the sit-down restaurant was underwhelming—the food seemed like reheated Sysco fare, lacking freshness and flavor, so we wouldn’t recommend it. Despite these small issues, we would definitely come back. The location, amenities, and overall vibe make Yosemite View Lodge a solid choice for exploring the area.
