Very convenient if you want to be very close to Yosemite NP. Older property and bathrooms could use updating. Staff is great, very helpful. Convenience store on property sells everything, food, drinks, coffee, souvenirs and warm clothing. Rooms are oversized, with kitchenette, fireplace and river view. Overall a good stay with easy access into Yosemite.

Near Yosemite
It was a great location for seeing Yosemite but it had the only restaurant around and it was a bit expensive for the quality. There was a small kitchenette so I would recommend bringing food for at least breakfast.

It was a very outdated and old looking room with peeling paint on the walls, super thin walls and not the cleanest room I’ve ever been in. The only reason I would stay again was it’s proximity to the Park entrance and beautiful creek behind the hotel. Also the hotels TWO restaurants weren’t even open that night due to some gas line failure so we had to go to a nearby property for dinner last minute in the dark with no cell service so we were all a bit disappointed.

We had an great stay at the Yosemite view Lodge. It is the second time we’ve boarded here & we would not hesitate to stay here again. It is as described. The unit we stayed in was a bit dated but spacious and fully functional. It made our 5 days stay very comfortable. The property location is convenient to the west entrance of the park and close to a gas station. The property’s grounds are kept clean. All staff from housekeeping to front desk were courteous every time a approached with a question.

Our room was surprisingly very spacious and had a balcony looking out at the Merced river. The kitchenette was well stocked with cooking utensils, dinnerware, and a big fridge. We cooked our own meals and enjoyed the fireplace. The room was very clean and comfortable too. The hotel definitely caters to family so it felt very safe. The best part was that the hotel was just a short drive to Yosemite. I would definitely stay here again.

We booked this property for the proximity to Yosemite. The room exceeded our expectations, yes it’s dated, but we didn’t come to a National Park to hang out at the hotel. The room was big, the fireplace a plus after hiking all day in rain/sleet & the hot tubs were a must for recovery & enabled us to hike every day. We made our own meals in the room too, just planned around only having a microwave & cooktop. That way we weren’t reliant on the onsite restaurant or making breakfast before it closed at a certain time. I would stay here again if we ever were to come back!

Room left a lot to be desired, great sounds from the river, but door was missing extra lock, heater smelled awful when on. Was a gap at the bottom of the door and woke up to some ants roaming around the room.

The perfect property to stay in if you don't want to pay the extra price of staying inside Yosemite, but want to be right next door. Not much around that area, but the place itself has a restaurant. No thrills, but convenient. Would stay again.
