I was not happy to find out my room was not prepaid and I had to pay the day of arrival. This really didn’t work well with my budget for my trip. The owner was very nice but I was not happy about this policy.

The positives: clean, well-maintained, inexpensive, in-town location walkable to main destinations in central Elko. The main negative is, being on the Business Loop of I-80, traffic is audible at all hours. Earplugs recommended. Also, the bath soap is remarkably unsudsy. I would bring my own.

Nice place proprietor was very nice and helpful. The room was clean and well kept. The only thing I would suggest is getting a new shower head, the one we had was like showering underneath a faucet, hardly and type of spray
