We had stayed at the same location 2 weeks prior. The location is a perfect distance to travel in a day to our vacation destination. We were frozen in our room! We turned the thermostat up to 79. Didn't seem to make a difference. In the middle of the night I looked for blankets. No luck. This time I requested blankets when we checked in. Still turned the thermostat up to 81 but were nice and warm and toasty.

The staff was very pleasant and the room and property and room were clean. But it's an older property with older furnishing. Example: The rooms are a bit too dark (decor, not lighting), the air condoning/heat is an older model that struggles to keep the room at a comfortable temp, and the microwave is operated by the old rotary dials instead of buttons. No extra amenities like an in-room safe and complimentary little bottles of shampoo. And the free breakfast is OK but contains no hot items like bacon. It's all very basic, but mostly functional and ok.

The breakfast offered has been scaled way back. Disappointing....our room and bathroom were both lean. No issues there! We had an issue with the tub draining and that was taken care of quickly. We just need a place to lay our heads and Econo Lodge fills the bill.

Staff were very nice but when they found out I was traveling with a dog, my assigned room was changed to a pet room. The “pet” room was very old and needed refurbishing. It was clean, but very dark and the mattress sagged on one side. Also, the tv didn’t have volume for channels like BBC news but did have volume for cartoons. Staff were not sure how to fix the problem. It served its purpose at the $67 rate (plus taxes and pet fee), but when I was passing through again, the rate was $100 (plus taxes and pet fee). Definitely not worth that price — got a huge, bright room with kitchenette and wonderful mattresses at Candlewood Suites for same price with AAA membership

This place was clean, reasonably priced and had a good breakfast. The only downside was the bathroom fan was insanely loud and there was no option to turn it off without turning the light off which makes bathroom trips for a kid hard at night.
