Room was very nice

Our room was very nice. We were surprised how nice it was considering the age of the downstairs, The smoke did reach the sixth floor; however, no smoke at all in our room!!!

The room I stayed in was recently remodeled and was in excellent condition. A very unique and historical establishment offering modern luxury in a very remote location. I always stay here when passing through Ely. Many amenities close by including the Jail House Steak House.

The room was exactly as pictured. While small, it was very clean and comfortable. Staff was very friendly. Free drinks upon arrival was a lovely bonus. Cute little town, easy access. Would not hesitate to recommend.

A Saturday night gone wrong.

The hotel was over a casino. Smoking odor instantly when entering the lobby. The rooms also reeked of smoke as did the linens. Very loud. The bed was comfortable even though the linens smelled stale. I’m not sure how this hotel got the ratings that it did.

Very tiny room and tiny bathroom. Very noisy as well. We were in the corner of the building. Doors are loose so every time someone goes in or out of there room your door shakes as well.

I’ve stayed here a couple times. It’s very old (and it shows) but they look like they are trying to breath new life into it. They have a Dennys restaurant, to which I think is gross, but I know some people like it. The staff is the shining jewel. Very friendly and helpful with anything.

Unfortunately they stopped providing free breakfast and instead give you a coupon for some money off a restaurant downstairs. This change will likely be enough to make me rethink my lodging.

Nice hotel. Small casino. Smoking in bar area. Rooms nonsmoking but suffer from years of smoking covered with air fresheners. Great mexican restraunt.All said would stay again. Checkout Northern Nevada Railway museum.

I liked that Denny's was there in the same building. I liked they put more water bottles in our room when they cleaned the following day. I didn't like there were not any hooks or towel bars in the bathroom.

Love that the rooms are newly renovated and super clean. Even though this is an old building with dated country decor the rooms were not. The service was friendly and the parking was conveniently close.
