Nice little gem in Ely!

We stayed in the suite 512. It was nicely appointed due to renovation, clean and perfect for a couple. Only complaint was that the room windows face a nightlife bar with very loud music that goes to 2am in the morning. Would recommend you choose a different room if you are a light sleeper. Staff were friendly and helpful....also note they only clean the room if you're staying more than 3+ nights! Would definitely go back..

We've stayed there 3 times and sill likely stay there again when passing through Ely. The hotel was built in 1929 and retains a rustic, old-time atmosphere. They are currently in the process of renovating their rooms. We liked the current rooms, but were given a tour of the upgrades - Wow! The rooms maintain the 1929 charm, but are upgraded to remove the quaint, but sometimes annoying issues found in older hotels. It's a great place foe a quiet getaway.

The room was quite small and the bathroom floor was filthy, having hair remnants pretty much everywhere. The bed & pillows were comfortable. I had a challenge contacting the front desk, there was no dialing directions. One of the front desk clerks didn’t know either.

I was shocked how nice our room was. Updated, comfy bed and clean. We had a junior suite and for the price, I was very happy. I recommend staying here! Casino was fun as well.

This was very affordable for our family and made it possible to visit Ely. We had a GREAT TIME! Family suite had 2 bathrooms and 2 tvs. Tub is nice if you have little people. 2 sets of tables and chairs and lots of extra blankets, pillows and towels already in the room. Staff was VERY VERY NICE! I would stay again if we visit ely. Bed were decent and comfortable.

I love this hotel! Can’t wait to return….. My last night however cigarette smoke from the casino made it up to my room on the 6 floor. Sorry that’s the only negative..

Great place to stay

This is the 3rd or 4th time we've stayed here. The staff are always friendly and the rooms are clean and comfortable. The elevator is a little slow but it's an old building with a lot of history, so it's a small inconvenience. We plan on staying again next year.

Very old building, smells like cigarettes everywhere. Bathtub was dirty and old, unbelievable to be honest. Staff was friendly, casino is small but it's cool. Free drinks if you play.
