I can't say enough about how friendly and accommodating the staff at this hotel is. Every single employee we encountered took time out of their day to say hello. The hotel also had so many little touches that made the stay enjoyable. From free popcorn, to little treats left on the bed, free dink tickets, a free gift in the gift shop, this hotel just knows how to make you fell welcome. The room itself was very clean and perfectly comfortable and the food and the service in the hotel restaurant and bar exceeded out expectations. When passing through Ely, the Prospector Hotel will be the place we will stay every time.

Overnight Stay in Ely

We love to stay here on our way to see our Son and Daughter in Law in Arizona. We like to bring our pup. The Prospector Hotel and Casino is the best. They LOVE dogs. Everyone from the front desk to housekeeping and servers in the bar and restaurant are kind and caring. The whole place makes you feel welcome and glad that you have returned. The drinks in the bar are excellent and the food from Margaritas is always good. Treats are always available in your room for your pups. The dog run area is nice as well. Its unfortunate more guests don’t clean up after their pets.

We LOVED this charming hotel! People were amazing and nice. So much to see. Poor and hot tub were fantastic although lady “monitoring the pool” was incredibly rude to multiple people and very abrasive. Mexican food resteraunt was not good and lady argued with me when I said my son didn’t like his food and he found it spicy “ it’s not spicy we make this all the time for children” Do not tell me my child doesn’t find something spicey. They make their fajitas with teriyaki and it’s pretty gross. Other than that the room was so comfortable and clean- kids loved it and all the little touches- rubber duck in the bathroom for them to have in the tub, ear plugs in case it was too noisy on the bed, little suckers were a great touch too, and the free gift at gift shop- the lady there is amazingly kind and funny, drink coupon. When we go to Ely for next years wrestling tournament this will be our go to!!

Very friendly and helpful staff throughout! Danny checked us in and made a great first impression, and the rest of the staff continued to make us feel welcome the entire stay. Very clean pet friendly rooms with quick and easy access to a large grassy area. On site restaurant had wonderful service and food. Casino had a fun variety of games.

Nice area for dogs, however it would be nice if the dog area was fenced, also dog area should be picked up as some dog owners are irresponsible in cleaning up after their dogs. Seems silly that you would have to do that, but some people are just no considerate.
