The hotel was very run down. Room smelled. No door locks to get into the building with rooms, very unsecure. There were bugs in the bed. Room very run down and smelled. The hallways smelled. I could not get a refund and ended up leaving and not even staying. Awful!

Travel Inn Emporia Kansas

We got in late on Saturday and left on Sunday so not much was open. Parking was safe. It's not much to look at but people were nice, rooms were clean. My truck was safe. I would stay there again and recommend it to others. And to to it all off, it was very affordable.

The staff were great, the room and parking was easy to find. However, our room smelt of smoke and the room didn't feel clean. We found an ash tray outside our room on top of our AC unit... Which explains why the room smelt of smoke. Great price for the area...

The room was WONDERFUL. Newly remodeled and very fresh smelling. Nice beds and comforters too. Highly recommend and GREAT value for the rate.

If you like the off beat

The room had so much dog hair in it. The bed was very lumpy. The door was absolutely not secure. Host was nice.Gave us a bottle of water and a snack. Quiet area. The commode was so low was very hard to stoop down for a handicap person. No grab bars and shower was very slippery with no grab bars.

Week Stay

Six-night stay for Junior Worlds disc golf. The property is dated: no USB charging outlets and the wall plugs were loose with anything plugged into them. The TV was an older flat screen, at least ten years old. Also could hear some noise between rooms. But it was clean and spacious, the beds were comfortable, and the owners cleaned the rooms every day. Wasn’t much to it, but considering the price it was a good deal with no major complaints.

Surprising...the level of cleanliness was abhorrent. Bed slept well, but seemed to be falling apart. Dirt on the floor, pubes everywhere...stains and such running down walls and headboards

Good room for a budget price.

Its an older hotel but was relatively clean. Several outlets didn't work. Beds were comfortable which was surprising to me. I have a bad back and cant sleep on most hotel mattresses. Decent room for the price.

For the price, I was willing to look the other way at the older deep red carpet and mystery stains on poorly patched walls. Finding at least 2 different people's hair on a pillow was only tolerated because we arrived after midnight and needed to sleep before we kept driving the next day. Staff was friendly enough, but I would tell my friends and family to look for alternatives.
